Good vision is vital for daily life, making annual eye exams essential. Our Tell City, Indiana, office utilizes the latest technology for comprehensive exams.

To ensure a smooth appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the paperwork and remember to bring your medical and vision insurance.

We provide thorough exams for children through adults, including Initial Testing, an Exam, and plentiful Optical Choices. We also offer fittings, follow-ups, and eye-related prescriptions when necessary.

SERVICES

Pre-Exam Room

INITIAL TESTING

An optometric technician will take a few images of your eye using our digital retinal camera and OCT equipment. We will also approximate your corrective lens prescription.

  • Ocular Coherence Tomography, which takes an image of your retina and optic nerve

  • Retinal Photography, which indicates the presence of vision-changing illnesses or developments

  • Eye Pressure Screening

  • Auto-Refraction approximates your prescription

EXAM

Next, the Optometrist will join you for the second part of your exam. The doctor will perform more intricate tests and discuss their findings with you.

​

  • Slit Lamp Exam, which looks at the cornea and inner eye. The doctor assesses floaters and other visual indicators of health during this test.

  • Tonometry, which measures eye pressure

  • Visual Acuity Test, which measures the quality of your vision.

  • Dilation of pupils allows the doctor to examine the interior of your eyes more thoroughly.

  • Contact Lens Evaluation if selected by the patient.

OPTICAL CHOICES

Once the doctor has determined your vision correction needs, you can choose from contacts, glasses, sunglasses, and special options for sports and work.

  • Contact Lens Fitting includes measuring the shape & size of your eye. 

  • Frame Selection - We have frames for the basketball court, on the river, computer work, or factory tough. 

  • Lens Options include single vision, progressive, bi-focal, and more.

  • Lens Ad-Ons include anti-scratch coating, non-glare, and more.
